Our History
Founded in 2010, Uplynk became a trusted platform for large-scale streaming through Verizon Digital Media Services, Edgecast, and Edgio. Today, as part of Lynrock, we continue to support customers running live events, linear channels, OTT platforms, and FAST services around the world.

Chairperson of the Board

Cynthia Paul is the Founder, Chief Investment Officer, and Chief Executive Officer of Lynrock Lake LP. She is a board member of Yext, Inc. (NYSE: YEXT), an enterprise agentic marketing platform, and Chairperson of the Board of CalAmp Corp. (Private), a provider of flexible IoT solutions.
From 2022 to 2026, she served as a board member of Allot Ltd., a NASDAQ-listed network intelligence and security solutions provider, where she served on the Executive Committee. From 2023 to 2026, Cynthia served as a board member of ON24, Inc., a NYSE-listed cloud-based sales and marketing platform for digital engagement, where she served on the Strategic Committee. From 2018 to 2021, Cynthia served as a board member of DSP Group, Inc., a NASDAQ-listed semiconductor company. She served as chairperson of the Nomination and Corporate Governance Committee, a member of the Audit Committee, and a member of the Compensation Committee. From 2013 to 2017, Cynthia served as Chairperson of the Board of Conexant Systems, a privately held semiconductor company.
From 2002 to 2017, Cynthia was a Portfolio Manager at Soros Fund Management LLC (SFM), where she managed a portfolio across corporate credit, convertibles, and equities. Cynthia joined SFM in 2000 and served as a SFM representative for the Council on Foreign Relations and on SFM’s Investment Committee. Prior to joining SFM, Cynthia worked at The Palladin Group in 1999 and at J.P. Morgan from 1994 to 1999, most recently as Head of Convertible Research.
Cynthia graduated from Princeton University in 1994 with an Independent Major in Statistics and Operations Research, a Certificate from the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs, and a Certificate in Engineering Management Systems. She also is an advisory board member and former board member of AlphaSense, a SaaS company providing intelligent search to enterprise customers.
